  1. Inspection items before processing

1)      Observe the degree of use of the blade before processing. If the blade needs to be replaced, the hole should be larger than before before replacing the new blade. The processing personnel should adjust the blade according to the degree of wear of the blade.

2)     Before using the file, observe whether the thread and the handle connection are tight after the boring head. If it is not fastened or the fastening is not secure, the size of the hole before and after the hole will be inconsistent and the surface is rough.

  1. Method of adjusting knife in processing
  2. When starting the machining, the test should be carried out according to the bottom hole (usually 0.1-0.3mm),After the meter is tested, fine-tune it according to the result of the test boring tool.
  3. When debugging the rough boring tool, first loosen the fastening screw behind the boring head. For better adjustment accuracy, do not loosen the fastening screw. Under normal circumstances, loosen 1-2 turns. Then press the dial of the boring head clockwise according to the scale on the body. It should be noted that the diameter of the boring tool will increase by 0.01mm for each scale. When adjusting the size, please pay attention to prevent the back gap between the rough cutting head and the dial. Firstly, turn it in the opposite direction and then return it to the positive direction. Then adjust the diameter according to the diameter of the test boring head to the required size. The hole itself has tolerances. When adjusting the boring head, the range should be controlled to the middle part of the hole tolerance or the lower limit of the tolerance. This can avoid the machining size of the hole when the rough boring cutter is unstable.

1)    Maintain the rough boring tool and inject lubricating oil every 1 month.

2)     Adjust the range of rough boring tool to check the mark of the cutter body. Do not turn the dial beyond the boring range to prevent damage to the rough boring tool due to excessive force of the rotary dial.

3)     When using the rough boring cutters, pay attention to the damage degree of the boring cutter and whether there is any damage at the tip of the cutters. If the cutter are damaged, it will not only affect the processing, but also increase the consumption of the blades and cause unnecessary waste.

4)      When the dial on the rough boring tool is worn out or the scale is not clear, the rough boring tool should be replaced in time, and it should not be used continuously to prevent confusion in adjusting the scale.
